- Requirements: Certificate as School Principal or Certificate of Eligibility, required. Master's Degree in Special Education, preferred. Experience as a Child Study Team Member and/or Administrator, preferred. Strong knowledge of New Jersey Administrative Code and IDEA. Demonstrated ability to effectively administer special education programs and collaborate with parents, community groups, and agencies. Enthusiasm to design inclusive educational programs that are responsive to student needs. Strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with student databases, preferably Genesis, Front line IEP, preferred. Required criminal history background check.
- Description: The Director of Special Services will supervise and support the Child Study Team and special educators in delivering quality programming to our PK-8 students.
